Accepting life as it is.

I always forget to just accept life as it is, i try to control it and make my future amazing, i have always thought if i think about it that much and try to put, my all in to wanting something. Then i will be happy! But what i have realised as I’ve gotten older is, it doesn’t work like that. It’s the total opposite! If i just let life be just as it is, it just makes life so much easier!

What is going with the flow?

It’s rolling with the punches.

It’s accepting change without getting angry or frustrated.

It’s taking what life gives you,

rather than trying to mold life to be exactly as you want it to be.-Zen habits.

When you accept life just as it is you open up and start to feel lighter and you start noticing all the good you already have. It works with everything accepting someone exactly as they are and you then start to appreciate their good qualities, instead of trying to change them.

It also helps to not compare yourself to anyone else, because you’re doing exactly what you are meant to be doing right now.

Then as you relax in life, you start to attract more good things into your life! If you haven’t read about law of attraction, it makes sense.

I always have points in my life were i forget this and i start resisting and life starts getting hard! So now i am fully accepting where i am right now!

Of course there are things i would like to do. But i am happy with what i have at this moment. If things don’t work out, how i envision them, then that is totally okay. It is not my path and it is not meant for me and i am okay with that.

Today i had a little bit of a push, to do something i have been wanting to do, but waiting for the perfect timing and there isn’t. So i have accepted that i will start to make this change and go with it. Because that little push was a sign.

I did get angry at first and thought why am i getting pushed. But as i have consciously accepted it as a sign to move forward it has helped. I am not so angry and i am not trying to control the outcome of it. Because if its meant for me, it will be.

You’re also nicer to be around. I have learnt to let life be just as it is and not to try control it, because that just makes me miserable and i don’t get anywhere fast.

I see this on ZEN HABITS and i was just like YES…

No matter how much structure we create in our lives,

no matter how many good habits we build,

there will always be things that we cannot control — and if we let them,

these things can be a huge source of anger, frustration and stress.

The simple solution: learn to go with the flow.

So just try to accept life as it is and choose to see the good things you already have in life. It just makes it that little bit easier.
